G2 Recruitment is currently supporting a leading data center operator in their search for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a critical facility in Frankfurt during a major refurbishment program.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager who can hit the ground running, lead an established operations team, and ensure the facility remains fully compliant and operational throughout the refurbishment works.

\n

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

\n

Rate: Up to €1,200 per day

\n

Contract Duration: 12 Months

\n

Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Act as the primary point of contact for all on-site operations and client interactions
\n
• Manage and lead an existing shift team of 12 engineers across the facility
\n
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring maximum uptime and performance of critical systems
\n
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive works
\n
• Ensure all site activities are completed safely and in compliance with operational procedures
\n
• Monitor adherence to SOPs, EOPs, and MOPs across the facility
\n
• Support the successful delivery of refurbishment activities while maintaining business continuity
\n
• Manage site documentation, permits, and compliance requirements
\n
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and reporting on site performance
\n
• Drive a strong health & safety culture throughout the facility
\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• Previous experience managing a Data Centre or other Critical Facility environment
\n
• Strong Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) background
\n
• High Voltage (HV) experience is essential
\n
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams within mission-critical environments
\n
• Excellent understanding of critical infrastructure operations and maintenance
\n
• Experience managing contractors and third-party vendors
\n
• Strong knowledge of site compliance, safety procedures, and operational best practices
\n
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of site operations
\n
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
\n
• EU Passport is essential
\n
• Availability to work on a rotational basis
\n
