Role Description


The Site Manager role at Axis Construction is a full-time, on-site position based in Kildare. The Site Manager oversees day-to-day site operations, including coordinating subcontractors, supervising construction activities, and ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations. This role involves managing site schedules, monitoring progress against programme, and addressing issues promptly to keep projects on track and within budget.

The Site Manager works closely with project managers, design teams, and stakeholders to maintain clear communication, facilitate site meetings, and ensure quality standards are met. The position also includes maintaining accurate site documentation, reporting on project milestones, and promoting a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment.


Qualifications



  • Strong construction site management skills, including supervision of trades, coordination of subcontractors, and daily site operations.

  • Experience with project planning, scheduling, and cost control, with the ability to keep projects on programme and within budget.

  • Knowledge of building regulations, health and safety standards, and quality control processes relevant to residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

  • Effective communication and leadership abilities, including stakeholder coordination, conducting site meetings, and resolving on-site issues.

  • Proficiency in using construction management software and standard office tools for reporting, documentation, and progress tracking.

  • Relevant qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction sector, ideally with multi-sector exposure.

  • Ability to work on-site in Kildare on a full-time basis, demonstrating reliability, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
