Site Engineer

Site Engineer – 7/8 Week Contract – Scotland & North East We’re currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to support multiple infrastructure project sites across Scotland and the North East on a short-term paternity cover contract. This role would suit a strong all-round engineer comfortable working across live site environments, supporting quality documentation, lift planning activities, and occasional setting out duties. Rate: £350–£400 per day (Inside IR35) Locations: Wooler Simprim Haddington Rhynd (Perth) Charlestown (Dunfermline) Pettinain (Lanark) Start Date: 1st June ⏳ Duration: 7–8 Weeks Candidates based around Fife / Kinross / Central Scotland would be ideally located for travel between sites.

Key Responsibilities: ✔ WC Quality Check Sheets ✔ Supporting Lift Plans & lifting activities ✔ Site engineering support ✔ Occasional setting out ✔ Site documentation & compliance ✔ Liaising with site teams & subcontractors Requirements: Previous Site Engineer experience within civils or infrastructure Strong understanding of quality documentation Experience supporting Lift Plans CSCS Card Full UK Driving Licence Able to work independently across multiple sites Desirable: AutoCAD experience Setting out experience Utilities or infrastructure background This is a great opportunity for someone who can quickly integrate into existing teams and provide reliable engineering support with minimal supervision.
