Role Overview

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality construction outcomes? Do you thrive in a role that demands sharp attention to detail and an uncompromising commitment to excellence?

We are looking for a dedicated Site Engineer to join our dedicated team on-site at the exciting Danby Lane Project in Nundah, a 12 storey multi-res mixed use development.

Your primary purpose will be ensuring all on-site construction activities align with the company standards, while complying with contract documents, industry standards, and relevant legislation. By collaborating closely with the site team, QA Manager, Continuous Improvement team, Subcontractors, and Suppliers, you will play a pivotal role in delivering projects that exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance

  • Maintenance and execution of Project Quality Action Plans

  • Creation of Subcontractor and GVG Inspections

  • Timely and progressive completion of ITPs

  • Coordination, development, observations, and reporting

Time

  • Monitoring the program and advising on programmed works

  • Updating inspection schedules to align with project changes

  • Site Collaboration and Administration

  • Verification of products and systems

  • Collaboration with sub trades for passive fire requirements

  • Completion of project register and raising of RFI's as required

Safety

  • Completing HOMESAFE Inspections

  • Raising observations for safety issues and improvements

  • Continuous Improvement, Training, and Development

  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders for upskilling and knowledge enhancement

What You Bring

Qualifications & Background

  • Carpentry/building trade background OR a tertiary qualification in a general construction-related field

  • Current First Aid Certificate

Skills & Attributes

  • Uncompromising attention to detail and dedication to quality outcomes

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal abilities

  • Strong team player with a supportive, positive, and collaborative mindset

  • Proficiency in project management software and document management systems

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a close-knit site team

  • Proactive approach to quality, safety, and continuous professional development
