Showroom Sales Representative

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Showroom Sales Representative to join our team at our Ringwood Showroom.

About the Role

This is a key customer-facing sales role, responsible for being the primary sales contact at our Ringwood Showroom while preparing accurate and timely quotations for residential building projects.

Working closely with our Business Development team, builders, architects and customers, you will play an important role in driving sales growth, developing strong customer relationships and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage sales enquiries and provide professional customer service from initial enquiry through to quotation and follow-up.
• Assist builder clients and customers with product selections and provide knowledgeable advice and feedback.
• Prepare detailed and accurate quotations for residential building projects, ideally within 3-5 working days.
• Liaise with builders, architects and clients regarding product specifications, design and pricing.
• Follow up quotations and customer enquiries to maximise sales opportunities.
• Provide sales support to the Business Development team.
• Maintain strong relationships with key customers and account contacts.
• Manage competing priorities and timeframes to ensure quotations are completed within agreed deadlines.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to resolve issues and ensure quotations are commercially competitive and cost-effective.
• Answer incoming calls and resolve or appropriately escalat
• Maintain accurate quote and customer records.
• Utilise Monday.com and Windowmaker to manage quotations, documentation and orders.
• Ensure required documentation is complete and deposits are received prior to order placement.
• Provide weekly reporting to management on quoting and sales activity.

About You

We are looking for someone who is confident dealing with customers and has a strong understanding of the building and construction industry.

You will ideally have:

• Experience in sales, estimating or quotation preparation within the building, construction, windows/doors, building products or manufacturing industry.
• Sound knowledge of the residential construction industry.
• Experience working in a showroom or building supply environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Sound written and verbal communication skills.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.

• A professional presentation and positive, team-focused attitude.
