Role Description At The Solved Skin, our website is not just a storefront. It is where trust is built, proof is explained, and customers decide whether skincare can finally feel simple again. We are looking for a Shopify Developer who can own, improve, and scale our Shopify experience - from theme customisation and conversion-led landing pages to performance optimisation and occasional internal tools.

You will work at the intersection of e-commerce, design, technology, and storytelling for a brand built on clarity, proof, and care. Solved Skin’s core philosophy is simple: skincare should be built to solve, not just to sell. What You'll do Manage and improve our Shopify store end-to-end Customise Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX Build landing pages, PDP modules, campaign pages, and conversion-led sections Improve site speed, responsiveness, UI consistency, and mobile experience Work closely with design, brand, and growth teams to bring ideas live quickly Debug issues across themes, apps, checkout flows, integrations, and tracking Maintain clean code using GitHub Support internal tools or dashboards when needed Collaborate on Shopify integrations with apps, analytics tools, CRM, and marketing systems Qualifications You should have: Strong understanding of Shopify theme architecture and Liquid file structure Hands-on experience with theme customisation Good command of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX Working knowledge of GitHub Ability to translate Figma/design references into clean, responsive front-end experiences Strong debugging and problem-solving ability 3–4 years of relevant Shopify/front-end/e-commerce development experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred Good to have These are useful, but not mandatory: Full-stack development experience React with Shopify / Hydrogen exposure Node.js and MongoDB React Native Ruby familiarity Experience with Shopify Plus UI/UX sensibility Experience in D2C, beauty, wellness, or consumer brands You'll thrive here if: You are not just someone who “knows Shopify.” You care about clean user journeys.
