Job Description
- 2+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience (Shopify or Shopify Plus)
- Experience with Shopify's Admin API, Storefront API, and Webhooks
- Familiarity with headless commerce frameworks (e.g., Hydrogen, Next.js) is a plus
- Understanding of retail e-commerce operations: product catalogs, inventory sync, promotions, order management
- Experience integrating third-party apps and platforms (ERP/POS systems like NetSuite, Shopify POS, Klaviyo, etc.)
- Experience with Git/version control and agile development workflows
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Shopify Partner or Shopify Plus certification
- Experience with React, Node.js, or other modern JS frameworks
- Background working with retail/apparel/consumer goods brands
- Familiarity with checkout customization (Shopify Functions, Checkout UI Extensions)
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals and Core Web Vitals
- Experience with A/B testing tools and CRO best practices
