About the Role:
JRK Steel Inc is looking for a motivated and dependable Shop Hand / Delivery Driver to join our team in Duluth, MN! This is a hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in keeping our steel operations running smoothly — from the shop floor to the customer's door.

Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and organize steel materials, products, and supplies in the shop
• Operate delivery vehicles to transport steel products to customer job sites and locations
• Assist shop staff with material handling, cutting, and general production support
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and shop environment
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
• Follow all safety protocols when handling heavy materials and operating equipment
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and represent the company professionally

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to safely lift and handle heavy materials, including steel products
• Previous experience in a warehouse, shop, or delivery role preferred
• Forklift experience or willingness to obtain certification is a plus
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to safety and adherence to workplace safety standards
• Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
