Job Description
As a Shipping Manager, you have the opportunity to lead a dynamic team in Hamilton while earning a competitive annual salary between $90,000 and $100,000. Maintain a high‑standard safety environment by proactively identifying hazards and ensuring strict adherence to workplace protocols.
Direct the daily flow of all incoming and outgoing freight, ensuring accurate export and import documentation. Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders in sales and production to align shipping schedules with customer delivery dates. Utilize D365 to monitor warehouse workflows, manage inventory staging, and provide clear operational visibility to the management team.
Qualifications Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven leadership experience within an industrial manufacturing or heavy‑steel environment. Minimum 3 to 5 years of expertise in global logistics, specifically managing international shipping and carrier compliance. Preferred bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
Highly proficient in navigating ERP systems, with strong preference for those who have worked with D365. Flexibility to travel internationally and willingness to undergo a standard background check. Solid understanding of 5S methodologies and continuous improvement strategies.
