Service Manager

Violet Los Angeles, a 100-seat upscale Cali-French Bistro and Cooking School in Westwood Village, is seeking a Service Manager. Our ideal candidate has a passion for all things food and beverage, thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and takes joy in creating memorable guest experiences. They: lead in a positive fashion while multi-tasking and prioritizing workloads pay rigorous attention to quality and the bottom line by upholding defined standards consistently and over time guide, develop and support employees are involved in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant are people-oriented: genuinely enjoy engaging with guests and staff have some aptitude with hospitality-related tech (Toast, Resy, etc.) and can troubleshoot basic issues involved therein ideally have some experience planning and executing events Basic responsibilities include: Support the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in leading FOH operations and service flow Nightly closeouts Manage guest experiences and resolve service issues in real time Support training, coaching, and development of the FOH team Assist with staff accountability, sidework completion, and floor communication Uphold service standards and restaurant policies Experience and Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in full service, high volume restaurants Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Drive to help the establishment operate successfully Able to inspire, motivate, and develop employees Able to identify problems and solve on the fly Hospitality-focused, quality-driven management style Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds Benefits: Potential for career growth, paid time off, health insurance, dining benefits, additional income opportunities available through private events and applicable service charges, staff meals, parking, and the chance to contribute to a dynamic and growing restaurant team.
