We're hiring a SERVICE MANAGER to join our team at HART'S. Hart's is a bustling 30-seat neighborhood restaurant that opened in 2016 on Franklin Ave in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. Our menu is inspired by the flavors and cooking styles of coastal Mediterranean regions with a wine list that celebrates maritime and island wines.

JOB DESCRIPTION The Service Manager acts as a leader of the front of house team in conjunction with the General Manager, and upholds all systems, policies, staffing, accounting and service and hospitality standards. They are responsible for the oversight of daily operations and services. They work closely and collaborate effectively with the Chefs, General Manager and Partners.

The goal is to ensure the success of the team members, the enjoyment of guests and the health of the business while maintaining and pushing forward the establishment. Salary: $70,000-$78,000, paid time off and health insurance with $6,600 yearly company contribution. You should: Have a strong background in high volume, high level service – ideally in various capacities, having served, bartended, hosted and worked/planned special events in your career.

Have experience working in restaurant management. Bring a collaborative approach as a team player with the ability to create excellent working relationships across the restaurant. Prioritize the organizational health of the business and team you’re a part of—maintain a tight ship, while looking for and building solutions that help us work better together.

Possess excellent communication skills to connect effectively with guests and lead while working alongside co-workers, be direct with your feedback and generous with your trust. Be proficient in Reservation platforms, Microsoft Office, InDesign, G-suite. Come with a very confident level of wine knowledge, preferably with a love for the coastal regions of the Mediterranean.
