Service Engineer

Job Title: Service Engineer Department: Service Location: hyderabad , pune, guwathi ,chandigarh ,jaipur , Reporting To: Service Manager Job Summary The Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of company machinery at customer sites. The role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide timely support to ensure optimal machine performance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Installation & Commissioning Install and commission machinery at customer locations.

Ensure proper setup and functionality according to company standards. Maintenance & Repairs Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of machines. Diagnose mechanical or electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs.

Technical Support Provide technical support to customers for machine operation and troubleshooting. Guide customers on proper usage and maintenance of machines. Customer Service Visit customer sites to resolve service issues within the defined turnaround time.

Maintain strong professional relationships with clients. Documentation & Reporting Maintain service reports, maintenance logs, and customer visit records. Report service activities and technical issues to the service manager.

Training & Demonstration Train customers and operators on machine usage and safety procedures. Provide demonstrations during installation or after service. Spare Parts Management Identify required spare parts and coordinate with the service department.

Ensure proper usage and replacement of parts during servicing. Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Ability to work independently at customer locations. Good communication and customer handling skills. Willingness to travel extensively.

Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field. Experience 1–4 years of experience in machine installation, servicing, or maintenance (preferred).
