Server Engineer

Position: Server Engineer Location: Anywhere in India(Remote) Contract: 1 year Job Overview We are looking for a skilled Server Engineer to manage and support compute infrastructure across virtualized environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for provisioning resources, maintaining server performance, and ensuring smooth post-migration support and handover. Key Responsibilities: Setup Compute resources for applications and support Hyper-V and VMware environments Installation of OS, patches and troubleshooting Provide post-migration hypercare support, ensuring system stability after deployment. Coordinate with internal teams for smooth transition and knowledge handover. Maintain documentation for server configurations, processes, and issue resolutions. Ensure adherence to organizational IT policies and security standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: Hands-on experience with Hyper-V and VMware (vSphere/ESXi). Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration. Experience in OS installation, patching, and troubleshooting.

Understanding of virtualization, storage, and basic networking concepts. Ability to diagnose and resolve infrastructure-related issues efficiently. Good communication and collaboration skills.
