SEO Account Director

Experteer Overview As SEO Director, you will lead end-to-end organic search strategy across multiple accounts, aligning technical, content, and AI/LLM innovations with client goals. You'll mentor senior staff, shape product roadmaps, and drive cross-channel integration with Paid Search, Social, Content and CRO. You'll pilot new formats, champion data-driven decision making, and position the team as a thought leader in a fast-evolving search landscape.

• Define and sell multi-channel SEO roadmaps (technical, content, link-building, local, AI/LLM) aligned to budgets and KPIs Line-manage SEO Managers and Executives, support professional development, ensure quality and on-time delivery Pilot new search formats (AI chat integrations, voice, social discovery) and scale best practices Integrate SEO insights with Paid Search, Social, Content and CRO for seamless activation Architect measurement frameworks; track rankings, organic traffic, engagement and conversions; translate data into executive reports and roadmaps Lead client relationships, drive thought-leadership, and explore expansion opportunities and new services Support new business through industry expertise and case studies for pitches and RFPs Tasks Hands-on SEO leadership in agency or in-house setting with enterprise-scale brands Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JS, crawl/index optimisation, site architecture, GA4, BigQuery, Tag Manager Experience piloting AI-powered search solutions, schema/structured data, and voice/social integrations Strong leadership and communication with multi-disciplinary teams; confident with senior stakeholders Strategic ability to translate business objectives into multi-layered SEO programs; commercial mindset for upsell and growth Experience collaborating across matrixed teams with Paid, Content, Social and CRO leads Advanced use of enterprise SEO platforms (Screaming Frog, Botify, Semrush, Ahrefs, Similarweb) and visualization tools (Looker Studio, Power BI)
