Overview The Senior WMS Business Analyst will play a critical role in optimizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to enhance operational efficiency and ensure the seamless integration of systems. This individual will analyze business needs, gather requirements, and collaborate cross‑functionally to implement solutions that drive performance improvements. The ideal candidate will possess in‑depth knowledge of warehouse operations and WMS best practices, as well as exceptional analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities Analyze current warehouse systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and system optimization Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements for WMS enhancements Develop and maintain documentation of business processes, requirements, and system configurations Create detailed project plans and timelines to ensure efficient implementation of WMS projects Lead cross‑functional project teams in the execution of initiatives and solutions related to WMS Conduct user training sessions and create user manuals for WMS functionalities Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting of WMS‑related issues to internal teams Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training and support to warehouse staff as needed Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Information Technology, or a related field At least 5 years of experience as a business analyst in a warehousing or logistics environment Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong understanding of WMS functionalities and processes Proficient in using analytical tools like SQL, Excel, or similar Familiarity with databases and SQL for data analysis and validation. Ability to interpret system architecture diagrams and APIs Project Management / Issue Tracking: Jira, Trello, Asana. Documentation & Collaboration: Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Requirements Master's degree in a relevant field Experience with system integrations and enhancements Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) Experience in leading cross‑functional teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
