Innowise
WarszawaFull-timeMid LevelOn-site
Job Description
What We Offer
- End-to-end ownership of product quality with a real impact on the reliability of institutional-grade on-chain and financial transaction flows;
- An automation-first engineering culture focused on speed, supported by modern AI tools;
- Truly challenging technical problems at the intersection of QA, backend engineering, and Web3, including multi-chain integrations, transaction pipelines, and DeFi mechanisms;
- Collaboration with a world-class engineering team in a fast-growing global company;
- Competitive compensation aligned with the complexity of the role and your contribution;
- A broad portfolio of projects across FinTech, Blockchain, and AI.
Our Expectations
- 6+ years of QA experience, including strong hands-on experience in manual testing (requirements analysis, test case design, exploratory and regression testing) as a solid foundation for high-quality test automation;
- Proven experience building and maintaining end-to-end test automation across both Frontend and Backend, preferably using TypeScript;
- Experience with API testing (REST) and UI automation using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar frameworks;
- Deep understanding of blockchain transaction architecture and the ability to test the complete transaction lifecycle end-to-end: build → sign → broadcast → confirmation → finality, including nonce management, gas/fee models (including EIP-1559), transaction replacement/rebroadcast, and handling chain reorganizations (reorgs) and stuck transactions;
- Experience testing integrations with EVM-based networks (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Polygon, Optimism, BNB Chain, etc.) and understanding the behavioral differences between networks;
- Strong understanding of DeFi protocols and the ability to design test scenarios for staking, bridging, lending/borrowing, AMMs/DEXs, on-chain routing, yield mechanisms, and the ERC-4626 vault standard;
- Knowledge of major token standards and the ability to validate their behavior, including ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, and EIP-712 (typed data signing);
- Understanding of wallet infrastructure, custodial and non-custodial architectures, transaction signing, and key lifecycle management from a testing perspective;
- Experience verifying on-chain state through blockchain RPC nodes, block explorers, and Web3 libraries such as ethers.js, viem, or web3.js to build reliable test assertions;
- Experience testing in testnet and mainnet-fork environments (Hardhat, Foundry, Anvil, Tenderly), including creating local blockchain forks, mocking on-chain conditions, and preparing deterministic test data;
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to investigate backend issues using logs and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Sentry, or similar, and identify root causes;
- Practical experience using AI tools and AI agents to accelerate testing activities, generate and maintain test coverage, and analyze complex issues;
- Product-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze specifications, identify logical gaps, and propose improvements rather than simply validating implementation against requirements;
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar) and working with Git;
- English proficiency of B2 level or higher.
- Experience with non-EVM ecosystems, including Bitcoin's UTXO model, Solana's account model and programs, or the specifics of TON and Tron;
- General understanding of Multi-Party Computation (MPC), threshold signatures (ECDSA, EdDSA, Schnorr), and HSMs/secure enclaves as testing targets;
- Experience testing smart contracts and interacting with them, including unit and integration testing, fuzz testing (Foundry), proxy patterns, and upgrade mechanisms;
- Familiarity with oracle and cross-chain protocols such as Chainlink, Pyth, LayerZero, Wormhole, or similar, and understanding of how they impact testing scenarios;
- Experience working with on-chain indexers (The Graph or custom indexing solutions) for data verification;
- Experience with performance and load testing using k6, JMeter, or similar tools;
- Experience testing event-driven and microservices architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS);
- Experience using Docker for test environment preparation, isolation, and containerization.
- End-to-end ownership of product quality with a real impact on the reliability of institutional-grade on-chain and financial transaction flows;
- An automation-first engineering culture focused on speed, supported by modern AI tools;
- Truly challenging technical problems at the intersection of QA, backend engineering, and Web3, including multi-chain integrations, transaction pipelines, and DeFi mechanisms;
- Collaboration with a world-class engineering team in a fast-growing global company;
- Competitive compensation aligned with the complexity of the role and your contribution;
- A broad portfolio of projects across FinTech, Blockchain, and AI.
