Senior Web Developer - Tottenham Court Road, London

We are a global, data-driven digital marketing agency, with key specialism in marketing automation and customer acquisition. We are looking for a senior web developer to join our small agile team. You will be responsible for 6 websites and leading the development of our overall technology architecture.

Our work is fast paced and varied, and can often include video and audio, e-commerce, advertising technologies, and media AI solutions. About You Ideally, you will have previously worked in a dynamic agency environment and will be able to take high-level direction, turning your ideas into a relevant and tangible output. You will be ready to collaborate with the team and provide guidance to junior team members 5+ years of professional web development experience 3+ years of agency experience Strong understanding and experience of hosting solutions Experience with standard APIs Experience with the maintenance, support and enhancements of websites Experience with website migrations Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, SASS Excellent knowledge of PHP, SQL Excellent knowledge of WordPress Experience with front end frameworks e.g.

Vue.js and React Confident with version control e.g. GIT Experience with client relationships/management Your Personality Strong written and verbal communication skills Team player and comfortable using own initiative Appetite to learn, research and self-teach Commercial or agency development experience in a similar environment Self-motivated and confident to put forward ideas Your Responsibilities Initial migration of new clients websites from another agency Develop and test new website features Develop enhancements to website security and performance Manage our hosting company relationship (managed service) Making decisions on the best frameworks to develop for the future Actively contribute to the growth of the web development team We offer a comfortable and central working environment, a great company culture including regular company nights out, free coffee, a great selection of teas, fruit, and snacks, and alcoholic drinks for after work.
