Senior Web Developer

We’re on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Web Developer to join our clients growing team on a long-term contract based out of Calgary, Alberta . If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and love working on impactful, large-scale e-commerce projects, this opportunity is for you. As part of our tech team, you’ll help evolve and optimize a robust B2B e-commerce platform for the wholesale distribution industry.

You’ll work alongside experienced developers, designers, and stakeholders to build reliable, scalable solutions— all while enjoying the flexibility of a remote-friendly role . What You’ll Do: Build, enhance, and maintain dynamic e-commerce websites using Magento and PHP , plus other modern web technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring features from concept to deployment.

Design systems with scalability and performance in mind, following best practices in architecture and clean code. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical challenges as they arise. Contribute to Agile/Scrum workflows, ensuring your work aligns with business objectives.

Leverage DevOps tools and processes to streamline deployments and improve reliability. Work independently while keeping open lines of communication with teammates and stakeholders. Support the transition from external consultants to an in-house development model.

Stay ahead of the curve by applying the latest technologies and trends in web development. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience developing in Magento and/or PHP , with a portfolio or examples of past work. Comfortable working with Linux/Unix systems and Node.js .

Hands-on experience or solid understanding of DevOps tools and practices . Strong grasp of e-commerce workflows and online business operations. Self-driven and productive in a remote-first environment .

Great communication skills—written, verbal, and in team collaboration. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes. Bonus: experience with cloud platforms like AWS .
