Every hour around the world, more than one million tests are run on Beckman Coulter Diagnostics systems, impacting 1.2 billion patients and more than three million clinicians per year. The IT Business Analyst will be responsible for documenting, designing, configuring, testing, implementing, and supporting our enterprise regulatory software solutions. The candidate should have a strong background in business analysis and software configuration, implementation, and support.
This position is part of the Information Technology department located in Brea, California and will be on-site. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture business requirements and develop software solutions that meet those requirements.
Document, design, configure, test, implement, and maintain enterprise software solutions for a highly matrixed, global and complex organization. Provide technical support to end-users and resolve software issues, building standard work for common requests. Facilitate technical resources to develop and design software integrations with other enterprise business systems.
Lead product demos and software testing to ensure high-quality software development and develop detailed design documents and user manuals. Essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information science or related field, with a recent certification in Business Analysis and/or Scrum Product Ownership highly desirable. 5+ years of significant experience in scrum product ownership, business systems analysis, implementing, configuring, and supporting enterprise systems. Proven track record in successfully leading matrixed, complex projects, preferably in global safety data and content authoring software solutions (i.e.
UL WERCS Studio). It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Agile scrum methodology with familiarity of Atlassian software products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), and can successfully move from one business app domain to another, the ability to absorb/create domain knowledge and lead as an expert in an assigned business application domain. Demonstrated ability to organize business and stakeholder groups, elicit user needs, create functional and nonfunctional requirements, and define top-level architecture designs.
Demonstrated ability to support business applications and multiple user groups through manual and automated solutions. Demonstrated technical background (ability to configure/code). Medical or healthcare regulated environment, with understanding of validation processes.

This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
