Senior Supply Strategy Expert

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Supply Strategy & Business Operations Lead to shape our merchant strategy in Brazil. You will be the architect behind how we segment, prioritize, and capture strategic supply across the country. This role bridges data analytics and commercial execution, working closely with BD and leadership teams to optimize resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities

• Merchant Segmentation: Develop a merchant segmentation model tailored to the Brazilian market, defining tiers based on strategic value to specific user segments rather than solely on GMV or volume.
• Supply & Demand Mapping: Analyze demand distribution across user segments and regions, identify key supply gaps, and measure merchant impact on closing these gaps.
• Competitive Analysis: Map the competitive landscape, including competitor exclusives, to identify priority merchants and quantify market opportunities.
• Resource Allocation: Deliver data-driven recommendations on resource allocation, defining priority cities, segments, and merchant targets.
• Commercial Playbooks: Translate strategy into operational playbooks for BD and field teams, providing target lists, prioritization criteria, and performance metrics.
• Performance Tracking: Track supply initiatives and continuously refine segmentation and targeting models based on market performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in strategy, business operations, consulting, or strategic analytics, preferably within tech, marketplaces, e-commerce, or delivery.
• In-depth understanding of the Brazilian market, regional variations, and consumer behavior.
• Experience working with large datasets to structure complex problems. Proficiency in SQL and Excel/spreadsheets is required; experience with BI tools is a plus.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business challenges into structured frameworks and actionable plans.
• Strong business judgment focused on ROI, trade-offs, and pragmatic prioritization.
• Clear communication skills with experience aligning commercial, BD, and executive stakeholders.
• English proficiency is required.
