Opportunity Build the future with us. You will have the opportunity to apply your industrial structural expertise to major projects for a large client on Montréal’s South Shore. Your role will directly contribute to the reliability, safety, and performance of industrial facilities within the natural resources sector — a key pillar of the Canadian economy.

Your Impact Inspecting existing industrial facilities and providing recommendations to help guide site managers’ priorities. Performing and overseeing design calculations while ensuring compliance with Québec guidelines, codes, and regulations. Reviewing the work of engineers and technicians to ensure technical accuracy and quality.

Coordinating multidisciplinary projects as the discipline lead. Advising clients on optimal procurement strategies for project execution. Monitoring — or overseeing the monitoring of — construction activities to ensure quality and compliance.

Making key technical decisions on complex issues to enhance the performance and long‑term sustainability of industrial assets. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering; a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering is an asset. Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural design in Québec, including steel and reinforced concrete structures.

Strong experience in industrial environments (mining and metals, pulp and paper, cement plants, petrochemical facilities, aluminum smelters, etc.). Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) — required. ASP Construction card.

Consulting engineering experience is an asset. Excellent command of spoken and written French; bilingualism is required to collaborate with national teams. A collaborative mindset, sound professional judgment, and a strong client‑service orientation.

Compensation AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $114,600 – $151,800 MB & ON: $104,500 – $143,900 NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $103,500 – $137,400 Disclosure The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
