Senior Speech & Language Therapist

Location: Mountmellick Primary Care Centre, Co. Laois

Contract: End of October 2026 End of December 2026, with a view to extension

TTM Healthcare Solutions is recruiting a Senior Speech & Language Therapist to join the Childrens Primary Care Service in Mountmellick Primary Care Centre.

The successful candidate will provide assessment and intervention to children and young people presenting with a range of speech, language and communication needs, while working as part of a multidisciplinary Primary Care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an allocated paediatric caseload.
• Assess and provide evidence-based Speech & Language Therapy intervention.
• Develop and review individualised therapy programmes.
• Provide advice and support to children, parents, carers and relevant professionals.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, schools and other community services.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.
• Participate in clinical supervision, service development and quality improvement.
• Manage clinical risk and work in line with HSE policies and professional standards.

Requirements

• Recognised qualification in Speech & Language Therapy.
• CORU mandatory
• Strong experience working with children and young people.
• Experience managing a paediatric caseload.
• Excellent communication, organisational and clinical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Senior-level paediatric experience is preferred, however experienced Staff Grade Speech & Language Therapists with strong children and young persons experience will be considered.
