Role Title: Senior Software Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, and support of SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions supporting Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) services across Marriott International. This role is responsible for delivering scalable identity lifecycle management, access governance, certification, and application onboarding capabilities while partnering closely with Product Owners, Architects, Business Analysts, RBAC Analysts, Operations teams, and business stakeholders.

The SailPoint Developer will participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support. The role will contribute to continuous improvement of Marriott's Identity Governance platform through reusable frameworks, development standards, automation, and process optimization

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, develop, test, deploy, and support SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions aligned with Marriott's Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) strategy and operational requirements
  • Design and develop SailPoint workflows, forms, rules, certifications, provisioning policies, custom connectors, and reusable components to support access governance and identity lifecycle management.
  • Support onboarding of enterprise applications into SailPoint IdentityIQ, including requirements analysis, entitlement modeling, integration design, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Implement and enhance Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) lifecycle processes, automated provisioning and deprovisioning capabilities, identity correlation, and account management processes.
  • Support role-based access control (RBAC), persona-based access models, entitlement governance, certification campaigns, access requests, approvals, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls.
  • Design, develop, and support integrations between SailPoint and enterprise platforms including Active Directory, LDAP, ServiceNow, databases, APIs, cloud applications, and other identity source systems.
  • Participate in technical design reviews, requirements workshops, backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning activities, and solution delivery efforts.
  • Develop unit test plans and support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect remediation, release validation, and production deployment activities.
  • Troubleshot SailPoint application, connector, provisioning, and integration issues while partnering with engineering and operations teams to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer materials supporting the SailPoint platform.
  • Contribute to development standards, code reviews, automation initiatives, CI/CD practices, reusable framework development, and continuous improvement efforts across the IGA engineering team.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Business Analysts, RBAC Analysts, and Operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and supportable identity governance solutions.

Qualifications;

  • 5+ years of Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ development experience.
  • Experience with SailPoint application onboarding and integration development.
  • Strong experience configuring SailPoint workflows, rules, forms, certifications, and lifecycle management capabilities.
  • Experience with access governance, certification, provisioning, and role-based access control concepts.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
  • Java, BeanShell, XML, SQL, REST APIs, JDBC, LDAP, Git

Technical Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions including application onboarding, identity lifecycle management (Joiner/Mover/Leaver), access requests, certifications, provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and access governance processes.
  • Experience developing and integrating enterprise IAM solutions using SailPoint IdentityIQ, Java, BeanShell, REST APIs, JDBC, LDAP, Active Directory, SQL, XML, JSON, web services, and Git-based source control practices.
  • Preferred experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC)/IdentityNow, SailPoint Lifecycle Manager (LCM), Compliance Manager, ServiceNow integrations, CI/CD deployment practices, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Agile delivery methodologies, and SailPoint professional certifications.
