Senior Software Engineer
Credera
Job Description
Credera is a global consulting firm that combines transformational consulting capabilities, deep industry knowledge, AI, and technology expertise to deliver valuable customer experiences and accelerated growth across industries. Role Overview You are a senior software engineer and primary tech lead on client engagements. You scope and estimate work, model solutions against business requirements, serve as a senior technical voice in client communications, and guide junior team members in building software and cloud solutions across product engineering, platform engineering, AI-native systems, and modernization of legacy estates.
You partner with architects to set the technical direction, raise the engineering quality bar, and ensure shipped code works reliably in production. What You Will Do Work on complex, high-volume solutions using Angular, React, Next.js, Spring Boot, Python, and .NET, deployed on AWS, GCP, or Azure. Contribute to the design and build of agentic AI systems, including evals, guardrails, and retrieval‑augmented generation over enterprise knowledge.
Tackle data challenges to drive business value via analytics or by preparing enterprise data for AI systems. Implement cloud‑native APIs and automate infrastructure as code with Terraform, embedding observability and operability from day one. Own solution subsets on larger engagements led by an architect, and play architecture‑focused roles on smaller engagements.
Engage directly with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, surface trade‑offs, and ensure solutions are meaningful and impactful. Lead your team in client demos, sprint reviews, and other technical conversations with both engineering and business counterparts. Mentor junior team members and support practice and company development through R&D, peer training, and reusable solution accelerators.
Who You Are 3 to 5 years of experience in consulting or a technical industry. An interest in the practical application of AI in software development; hands‑on experience with agentic systems, AI/ML, or LLMs is a plus. A collaborative mindset seeking to provide value beyond expectations.
A subject‑matter expert people turn to for technical expertise and opinion. A quick learner who adopts new technologies, frameworks, and standards with curiosity for emerging AI tools. A professional who treats AI as a core tool, incorporating coding assistants and agentic tooling into daily workflow.
Comfortable presenting technical concepts to a client audience, both business and technical. A degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar work experience. How We Use AI To Enhance Our Work Access to industry‑leading AI coding assistants to boost productivity and code quality.
Use of OmniAI, our proprietary multi‑LLM platform, to accelerate solution design, architecture, and estimation. Contribution to building agentic systems with evals and guardrails, RAG over enterprise knowledge, and production agent platforms. Investing in continuous learning through internal communities, peer learning, and dedicated time to explore emerging tools.
