We are seeking a Full‑Stack Software Developer to support the ongoing development, enhancement, and maintenance of a mission‑critical system operating across secure Canadian Forces networks. This role focuses on .NET and Angular‑based application development, performance optimization, and secure deployment practices within a controlled environment. The successful candidate will contribute to both feature development and system stability, working within an Agile DevOps framework.

This is a proactive recruitment initiative, with potential start dates in the coming weeks or months, contingent on contract award. Key Responsibilities Develop and enhance system features using established architecture and design patterns Review software requirements, identify gaps, and recommend optimal technical solutions Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and application issues Analyze, validate, and test code against defined requirements Fix defects and implement performance improvements across the platform Design and implement deployment strategies for secure (CF) network environments Provide technical support and respond to user inquiries and issues Diagnose software and hardware problems and advise technical leadership Configure, maintain, and optimize Azure DevOps environments, including CI/CD pipelines Contribute to system architecture improvements and scalability planning Technical Environment Frontend: Angular Backend: C# (.NET Framework), REST APIs Databases & Search: MongoDB, Solr Messaging & Real‑Time: RabbitMQ, SignalR DevOps & Tools: Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines), Azure Portal, VS Code, Studio 3T Methodology: Agile (customized processes) Other Tools: Microsoft Office Suite Qualifications 5 years experience as a Software Developer College diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related field Strong hands‑on experience with C# / .NET Framework, Angular (front‑end development), MongoDB, Azure DevOps (Agile, CI/CD pipelines) Experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs Experience working in secure or enterprise environments Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize complex systems Asset Qualifications Experience installing, maintaining, and upgrading server operating systems Familiarity with distributed systems and messaging technologies (e.g., RabbitMQ) Experience with real‑time communication frameworks (e.g., SignalR) Exposure to search platforms (e.g., Solr) Experience working within government or defence environments Additional Information Must currently hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret (Level II) Canadian Federal Government Security clearance and Controlled Goods clearance.
