Job Title: SENIOR SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER Job Description: Ready to make a difference? SAHARA Las Vegas is looking for an experienced Senior Social Media Manager to join our high-performing digital marketing team. This self-motivated individual will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategy, working and coordinating with team members to encourage adoption of social media techniques into the corporate culture, and building a highly-engaged online community of brand advocates.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Digital Marketing, the Senior Social Media Manager will maintain day-to-day activity across all social channels and across several personas, as well as conduct regular reporting and work on several digital platforms to broadcast property offerings. This will be a highly collaborative position that calls for someone creative that can take concepts from ideation to execution. Job Focus: Focus is on, but not limited to the following: β€’ Develop comprehensive social media and influencer strategies aligned with overall business and revenue goals β€’ Develop compelling, unique, and original content for publishing on all company-owned social media channels β€’ Manage day-to-day content planning, publishing, and community engagement across platforms β€’ Lead content creation, including copywriting, visual direction, and campaign concepts β€’ Analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns based on insights and trends β€’ Oversee paid social campaigns, budgets, and ROI tracking β€’ Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, design, PR, and partnership teams β€’ Lead influencer and creator marketing strategy, including identification, recruitment, and management of influencers and brand ambassadors β€’ Oversee end-to-end influencer campaigns from concept through execution, including outreach, negotiation, content direction, and performance tracking β€’ Build and manage a tiered influencer ecosystem (macro, micro, and local creators) to drive awareness and conversion β€’ Integrate influencers into key property events, openings, and brand activations β€’ Create scalable creator programs, including hosted experiences, content residencies, and ambassador initiatives β€’ Track and report on influencer performance, including engagement, traffic, and revenue contribution β€’ Partner with paid media teams to amplify high-performing creator content through paid and whitelisting strategies β€’ Build and maintain an influencer database, including performance benchmarks and relationship history β€’ Connect with social audiences using engaging copy, images, video, and interactions β€’ Monitor, report, and respond to guest service issues, questions, reviews, and recommendations across social channels β€’ Conduct social media contests, sweepstakes, and giveaways for follower growth, engagement, and data acquisition β€’ Join relevant local, regional, and global social conversations β€’ Establish and maintain a reporting cadence with measurable goals tied to performance β€’ Maintain and safeguard brand voice and a unified messaging strategy across all platforms β€’ Perform periodic social media profile optimization β€’ Create social media creative specifications, talking points, and guidelines for partners and vendors β€’ Work closely with partners, vendors, and sister companies on cross-marketing opportunities β€’ Develop and maintain content calendar β€’ Lead live social media presence for key property events β€’ Perform competitive analysis β€’ Stay up-to-date on evolving algorithms, best practices, and industry trends β€’ Research and recommend social media tools as needed β€’ Create and improve internal processes and structure related to social media β€’ Other duties as assigned DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: β€’ Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or Communication, or three to five years of relevant experience β€’ Minimum three years of proven professional experience in building, engaging, and connecting with audiences across multiple channels, as well as possess the ability to interpret analytics, communicate results and formulate strategy using actionable data β€’ Experience creating effective storylines, shooting, and editing videos for social β€’ Strong familiarity with photo/video editing software and with basic graphic design and tools β€’ Expert-level familiarity with building, managing, optimizing, and executing high-converting paid social media campaigns β€’ Self-starter with excellent project management skills, including schedule development, tracking, task prioritization, and an ability to meet tight deadlines β€’ Demonstrate unique creativity and documented immersion in social media β€’ Knowledge of blogging and influencer ecosystem β€’ Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side β€’ In-depth knowledge of online reputation management β€’ Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary β€’ Maintain a positive, upbeat, and approachable attitude online and offline β€’ Demonstrated problem solver with highly-developed interpersonal skills in working with a variety of people and settings β€’ Familiarity with website analytics tools β€’ Passionate about their role β€’ Collaborative, creative, takes initiative, and great with follow-through β€’ Experience in a similar hotel, resort, casino, or entertainment setting a plus β€’ Lives, breathes all things social media and digital, and a sense of humor a plus β€’ Must be 21 years of age or older
