Senior Settlement Analyst

A Senior Settlements Analyst with experience in the GB electricity market is required to join a fast-growing energy management software business on a hire that's a bit different from your typical settlement role. They've built their own energy management platform that's gaining serious traction in GB markets — and as they scale, they need someone to come in and truly own the settlement function. That means running it, improving it, and helping build it into something that can grow with the business.

This isn't a seat-warmer role. They want someone who gets energised by process-building as much as by the day-to-day, and who can work closely with product and engineering teams to develop their platform's settlement capabilities. What you'll be doing: Owning end-to-end wholesale settlement, Capacity Market and ancillary service payments Building scalable, repeatable processes as the business enters new markets Working directly with finance, product and engineering — this is a cross-functional role Helping develop the settlement module within their proprietary energy management platform Investigating market nuance and communicating insights across front and middle office What they're looking for: Solid settlement experience in GB energy markets — Elexon/BSC knowledge is a real priority Comfort working with complex datasets; SQL and/or Python experience is a strong plus A process-driven mindset — you build systems, not just run them Strong communication skills; you'll work across multiple teams Finance or accounting degree level education preferred The setup: Remote-friendly across UK, with occasional travel to the office.
