Senior Risk Business Analyst / Risk Transformation Consultant

We are looking for a Senior Risk Business Analyst / Risk Transformation Consultant to support the transformation of risk-related processes within a banking environment. This role requires strong expertise in banking risk, end-to-end process analysis, and close collaboration with IT and data teams to drive efficiency, automation, and operational risk reduction.

The ideal candidate combines analytical depth with a pragmatic, delivery-oriented mindset and is comfortable translating business needs into structured roadmaps and actionable initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end analysis and mapping of current risk processes across the organization
• Identify manual activities, process inefficiencies, and operational risk exposures
• Assess operational risks and control weaknesses within existing processes
• Collaborate closely with IT, data, and reporting teams to design scalable solutions
• Identify and deliver quick wins through automation, reporting improvements, and data-driven insights (e.g., Power BI, lightweight automations)
• Design and propose a structured transformation roadmap aligned with business and IT priorities
• Support stakeholders in translating strategic objectives into executable initiatives

First 90 Days – What You Will Do

• Perform a detailed assessment of current-state risk processes
• Identify manual dependencies and pain points impacting efficiency and control
• Evaluate key operational risks and improvement opportunities
• Deliver quick wins through reporting enhancements and simple automations
• Define and present a clear, structured roadmap for risk process transformation

Required Experience & Skills

• 6–10 years of experience in banking risk (operational risk, credit risk, or related areas)
• Strong experience in end-to-end process mapping and analysis
• Hands-on exposure to automation, reporting, and data-driven solutions
• Proven experience working closely with IT teams (systems, data, and architecture)
• Ability to structure, prioritize, and communicate a transformation roadmap
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in risk transformation or consulting environments
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting and visualization tools
• Background in large-scale banking or financial services organizations
