What2s the opportunity?

Reliability is at the heart of every safe, productive and efficient mining operation. That2s why we have an opportunity for a Senior Reliability Engineer at Northparkes Operations. This is a chance to influence site wide asset performance, lead reliability improvement initiatives and help shape the long-term maintenance strategies that support one of Australia2s premier gold operations.

Working a family friendly 5:2/4:3 residential roster, you2ll enjoy genuine work life balance while playing a key role in improving equipment reliability, reducing operational risk and delivering long-term value across the operation. You2ll work closely with maintenance, operations and technical teams to drive measurable improvements that keep our assets performing at their best.

Reporting to the Reliability Superintendent, you2ll:

• Lead reliability improvement initiatives that increase asset availability, reduce downtime and improve operational performance.
• Drive defect elimination and root cause analysis programs that solve recurring equipment issues and deliver lasting outcomes.
• Develop and optimise asset maintenance strategies that enhance reliability, minimise risk and improve lifecycle value.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching and support to reliability engineers and specialists across the site.
• Deliver meaningful insights through equipment performance analysis, helping leaders make informed maintenance and investment decisions.
• Strengthen governance and compliance through auditing, asset performance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Does this sound like you?

• Degree qualified Mechanical Engineer or similar engineering discipline
• Demonstrated reliability engineering experience within mining or heavy industry
• Strong capability in asset strategy development, defect elimination and root cause analysis
• Experience leading or mentoring technical teams and influencing stakeholders across multiple disciplines
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into practical reliability improvements
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
