Join a highly collaborative Computational Science & Informatics team focused on advancing innovation in Digital Pathology and drug development through cutting-edge imaging and data science solutions. As a Senior Release Train Engineer , you will lead Agile Release Train (ART) activities for Digital Pathology algorithm projects, ensuring successful planning, coordination, execution, and delivery across cross-functional teams. This role combines technical project management, Agile leadership, and regulated software delivery within a highly innovative environment.

Location & Work Mode Location: Mississauga, Canada Work Mode: Hybrid Seniority: Middle to Senior Level (4–6 years of experience) Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate multiple Digital Pathology algorithm projects across cross-functional teams. Manage Agile Release Train (ART) planning, execution, and delivery activities. Collaborate with solution train teams to define priorities for Product Increment (PI) planning cycles.

Facilitate feature refinement activities to ensure readiness for upcoming PI cycles. Coordinate communication between stakeholders, development teams, and customers during feature definition and delivery. Identify, manage, and resolve cross-team dependencies, risks, and impediments.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives using delivery metrics, quality indicators, and team feedback. Provide transparent and regular program updates to stakeholders and leadership teams. Support budget analysis, project estimation, and integrated cost planning activities.

Develop and improve processes, policies, and procedures to optimize collaboration across business functions. Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout project execution. Support release management and software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities.

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 4–6 years of experience in technical project management and Agile Release Train management. Experience working within the medical device industry or other highly regulated environments. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

Experience delivering medical device software compliant with FDA regulations and quality standards, including: 21 CFR Part 820 ISO 13485 Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management processes. Experience using project management tools such as Jira. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to coordinate and influence cross-functional technical teams in Agile environments. Preferred Qualifications Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMP, or equivalent certification. Experience supporting FDA product submissions.

Exposure to image processing, pattern recognition, or Digital Pathology platforms is considered an asset. Expected Compensation Range: 50K-85K per year. The final compensation offered will be determined based on the candidate’s level of experience, skills, and qualifications , in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements.

Canadian Experience Requirement: No Canadian work experience is required for this position. Candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of previous Canadian experience.
