Senior Quantity Surveyor – Residential Apartments | Preston

We’re currently working with a well-established main contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a high-quality residential apartment scheme in Preston.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of residential developments across the North West.

The Role

• Commercial management of a residential apartment project from start to final account
• Procurement and management of subcontract packages
• Cost reporting, forecasting and budget control
• Managing valuations, variations and subcontract payments
• Preparing and agreeing final accounts
• Working closely with operational teams to ensure commercial targets are achieved
• Supporting the wider commercial team where required

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor or residential developer
• Strong background delivering residential apartment schemes
• Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion
• Good knowledge of JCT contracts
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with site and project teams
• Degree qualified or equivalent (preferred)
