Job Description
Chameleon Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale data warehouse modernization initiative. This role will drive the evaluation, selection, and implementation of a modern, cloud-based data platform that supports advanced analytics and data-driven decision making. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead an end-to-end transformation effort, working across business and technical teams to deliver a scalable, future-ready data solution.
This is a hybrid role and will require our consultant to be onsite in the client's Seattle office location 3-days per week. This is a multi-year project. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end delivery of a data warehouse modernization initiative from assessment through implementation Develop and manage key project deliverables including project charter, project management plan, and integrated schedule Facilitate current-state assessment and requirements gathering with stakeholders Coordinate platform evaluation and selection , including vendor engagement and decision support Oversee implementation of a cloud-based data warehouse solution Drive delivery of priority use cases , including reporting, dashboards, and analytics workflows Manage cross-functional teams across business, data, engineering, and vendor groups Establish and maintain project governance , including schedule, budget, risks, and reporting Lead risk, issue, and change management processes Provide executive-level communication , including status reporting and stakeholder updates Support organizational change management and user adoption Ensure knowledge transfer and transition to operations Required Qualifications 8+ years of project management experience, including complex technology initiatives Proven experience leading data warehouse, data platform, or analytics implementations Strong understanding of cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks Experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendors Strong knowledge of project governance, scheduling, and financial management Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Experience with data integration approaches (ETL or ELT) and analytics ecosystems Background in platform evaluation and vendor selection processes Familiarity with organizational change management practices PMP or similar certification Work Environment Hybrid work environment with a mix of remote and onsite collaboration Fast-paced, highly collaborative team environment Duration This is a multi-year project.
The initial engagement of approximately 12 to 18 months with potential for extension.
