Senior Project Manager

I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client, a well-established construction company with a strong pipeline of work. They are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion. The Rol e As Senior Project Manager, you will play a key leadership role across bot h pre-construction and live project delive ry stages.

You will work closely with the Project Quantity Surveyor, supporting financial reporting, cost planning, and project performance from tender stage through to final accoun t. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are properly planned, resourced, and compliant before works commence, and for driving safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery on si te. Key Responsibili ties Pre-Construction & Ten ders:Support and contribute to tender submissions and pre-construction pla nningReview and develop construction methodologies and buildability prop osalsAssist with programme development and sequencing at tender stageCollaborate with commercial teams to support cost planning and risk evalu ationIdentify risks, constraints, and opportunities during bid s tages Project Del ivery:Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor to support cost reporting and financial forec astingDevelop and maintain the main programme (logic of works)Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies and CDM Regulations as Principal Cont ractorPrepare and manage Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Construction Phase PlansProvide strong leadership and direction to site teams and emp loyeesManage labour resources and maintain high levels of produc tivityExpedite design information and materials from the desig n teamManage subcontractors and the wider supply chain effec tivelyEnsure compliance with company Quality Procedures and sta ndardsOversee quality control and ensure a snag-free ha ndover Ab out YouProven experience in a Senior Project Manager or similar role within const ructionStrong background i n both pre-construction/tendering and project d eliverySolid understanding of Health & Safety legislation and CDM Regu lationsExperience managing projects from inception through to com pletionStrong leadership and team management capab ilitiesConfident communicator with the ability to engage clients, consultants, and subcontractors at all levelsRelevant construction, built environment qualification, or trade bac kground What’s on OfferOpportunity to join a respected contractor with a strong pipeline of secu red workInvolvement across both tender stage and live project deliveryLong-term career development and progression oppor tunitiesHigh-profile, varied construction projects
