Role Overview The Senior Project Engineer works within the Project Management Team which is responsible for planning and overseeing the project to ensure a timely and cost‑effective outcome. This includes budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the project.

The engineer ensures the project is constructed in a safe, ethical manner and in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. The scope and number of responsibilities will vary depending on the size and complexity of the projects. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience creating documentation such as RFIs and client correspondence on issues related to notification provisions in contracts. 3+ years of reading and understanding construction plans, drawings, and the technical specifications associated with them.

Able to outline the specifications required for submission to clients and ensure submittals and shop drawings are approved. 2+ years preparing subcontract scopes and contracts. 2+ years of experience with project close‑out. 1+ year of working with cost‑control systems. Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; or 8 years equivalent experience plus a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience. Currently, the company is not considering applicants for this position who now or in the future require employment sponsorship by the company.
