Senior Project Engineer

• • Work alongside the Project Manager managing the technical side of delivery RFI responses
• • Manage IFC designs, design coordination for construction, as-built processes and asset acceptance
• • Coordinate the protection and control upgrades at the 330kV sites and the secondary system changes
• • Keep IFC designs current across the portfolio and manage the work-as-executed and as-built drawing processes
• • Set up the project plan, hold the budget and schedule, coordinate procurement and stakeholders on directly assigned projects
• • Deliver weekly and monthly project status reports and earned value assessments

Requirements

• An engineering degree or solid industry experience on large-scale projects
• Hands‑on knowledge of high‑voltage substation construction
• Experience managing the engineering function on high‑voltage substation projects including RFI management
• IFC coordination
• Design responses for construction
• As‑built processes
• Practical understanding of secondary systems including protection and control
• Experience coordinating secondary systems work alongside primary plant construction
• Familiarity with the interface between substation construction and transmission network operations
• Experience managing construction contracts including scope, variations and contractor coordination
• Able to work autonomously across multiple concurrent projects
