Senior Product Manager, Theft Solutions As a Senior Product Manager, Theft Solutions, your key area of responsibility will be identifying and scaling end‑to‑end products that leverage Geotab®'s telematics platform, real‑time data insights, and predictive analytics to prevent vehicle and asset theft, enable rapid recovery, and reduce insurance costs. You will work closely with hardware engineering, software development, data science, commercial teams, and external partners. The role requires an entrepreneurial self‑starter with tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to iterate rapidly based on customer feedback.
Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive customer discovery to understand theft vulnerabilities, recovery workflows, and decision criteria across fleet segments. Uncover latent needs and willingness to pay for prevention and recovery solutions, and research competing platforms. Define the theft solutions product strategy, including feature set, pricing model, and market segmentation.
Translate customer needs into detailed product requirements and partner with data science to define theft detection algorithms (behavioral anomaly detection, location pattern analysis, risk scoring). Own the theft solutions product roadmap, aligning hardware, firmware, cloud, mobile, and business intelligence teams on phased delivery. Drive end‑to‑end product delivery from requirements to launch, managing dependencies, priorities, and release readiness.
Track market performance post‑launch, including adoption, retention, and revenue contribution, using data to accelerate iteration and close gaps between roadmap intent and customer outcomes. Qualifications 7-10 years of Product Management experience, ideally spanning IoT and SaaS environments. Demonstrated experience bringing a new product or feature from discovery to market launch with measurable customer adoption.
Expertise in Telematics & Connected Devices, specifically how GPS, CAN data, and diagnostics are leveraged for predictive analytics and real‑time alerting. Theft & Loss Prevention knowledge, including vehicle theft mechanisms, recovery workflows, and anti‑theft technologies such as immobilizers and trackers. Strong analytical ability to synthesize data signals into prioritized insights and user‑centric tools.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams and explain technical capabilities to non‑technical stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Background in fleet management or insurance technology is preferred.

Salary and Compensation Annual base salary: $125,000 - $150,700 CAD, subject to change based on experience, qualifications, and location. Additional equity and other compensation components may apply. All offers are contingent upon proof of eligibility to work and a background check.
