Overview
As Senior Product Manager for Italy Market Expansion, you own Clio's end-to-end product and customer experience in Italy, from onboarding to daily practice management and billing. You will balance global scale with local nuances, driving a roadmap that delivers measurable outcomes and market readiness. You collaborate with engineering and design to ship iteratively, leveraging AI-native approaches to research, requirements, and prototyping.
Your work will unlock Italy-specific opportunities, regulatory compliance, and partnerships, shaping Clio’s growth in a new market.

- Own Italy portfolio and customer experience end-to-end, closing gaps where other teams own them
- Ensure broader customer experience quality in Italy, measuring success against local practitioner needs
- Maintain a current view of issues and commitments for Italy and communicate to leadership
- Develop and evangelize the roadmap in line with the strategy set by the Senior Director, Product Management
- Deliver features on the roadmap while achieving desired business outcomes
- Lead market readiness tasks including localization, multilingual support, regulatory compliance, and market-specific workflows
- Set a clear Italy vision and ship iteratively, with initial customer-visible changes within 90 days
- Parallelize workstreams when possible and manage scope when regulatory deadlines constrain timelines
- Understand Italy’s legal market, including civil law influences, regulatory bodies, and local practice nuances
- Track regulatory surface and translate into actionable requirements for central teams
- Read and debate platform design with engineering, focusing on architecture, data models, and tradeoffs
- Apply AI-native methods for research, analysis, and prototyping while verifying outputs against primary sources
- Build strong relationships with practitioners, bar associations, and local partners
- Influence central teams by building a compelling business case for Italy and negotiating tradeoffs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Operations to launch and grow in Italy
- 4-5 years of product management experience
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Working knowledge of the Italian legal market and regulatory requirements
- Proven track record delivering multiple products or features from ideation to launch in a SaaS environment
- End-to-end product ownership including outcomes dependent on external teams
- Expertise in localization and multilingual product development
- Experience building or managing multilingual applications and expanding to other countries/languages
- Technical fluency to reason about system design, data models, and platform tradeoffs
- Demonstrated AI-native working style with examples of AI use in product practice
- Experience securing roadmap commitments from non-reporting teams and delivering outcomes
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to use data to guide decisions without paralysis
- Empathy for customers and ability to operate across time zones and cultures
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and collaboration over ego
