We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Product Designer to join the Marriott Tech Accelerator. This role delivers end-to-end UX and UI design solutions in close partnership with product and engineering teams. Job Responsibilities: Design end-to-end UX and UI solutions aligned to product requirements.
Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma. Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers. Apply and extend Marriotts enterprise design system.
Support usability testing and iterative design improvements. Communicates with designers, product managers, developers, and leadership through appropriate visuals, annotations, documentation and presentations when needed CORE WORK ACTIVITIES: Design Planning & Discovery: Translate business and user needs into journeys and flows. Participate in discovery and requirement discussions.
Design Execution: Create wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs using Figma. Ensure accessibility and consistency across designs. Is adept at explaining complicated concepts through clear visuals to facilitate understanding across the organization.
Demonstrated ability to deliver results under ambiguous landscapes, breaking complexity into understandable chunks, bringing ambiguity into focus. Provides subject matter expertise on Associate Experience including associate needs and interactions to ensure optimal infusion throughout digital products. Produces both innovative high-level design concepts and strategy visualizations as well as development-ready designs with specifications leveraging a design system.
Provides information architecture, user experience, visual design oversight through review and critique for all products to promote a cohesive user experience. Problem Solving and Collaboration: Collaboration - Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Work closely with engineering during delivery.
Communication - Conveys information and ideas to others in a convincing and engaging manner through a variety of methods. Managing Change - Adaptable to change process and energizes it on an ongoing basis, taking steps to remove barriers or accelerate its pace; serves as role model for how to handle change by maintaining composure and performance level under pressure or when experiencing challenges. Problem Solving and Decision Making - Identifies and understands issues, problems, and opportunities; obtains and compares information from different sources to draw conclusions, develops and evaluates alternatives and solutions, solves problems, and chooses a course of action.
Strategy Development - Supports systematically evaluating opportunities with the greatest potential for producing positive results. Skill and Experience: 4+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design. Strong portfolio demonstrating interaction and visual design skills.
Hands-on experience with Figma and design systems. Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams. Education and Certifications: Bachelors degree in Design, HCI, or related field preferred.
