Job Summary We are seeking a highly analytical and data-driven Product Analyst to support product strategy and execution by transforming data into actionable insights. The role involves analyzing product performance, understanding customer behavior, conducting market research, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive product improvements and business growth. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and a passion for building customer-centric digital products.
Key Responsibilities Product Analytics & Insights Analyze product performance, user behavior, and business metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Perform funnel analysis, cohort analysis, retention analysis, and conversion analysis to measure product effectiveness. Generate actionable insights to support product and business decisions.
Define and monitor key product KPIs and success metrics. Dashboarding & Report Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track product health and business performance. Develop automated reports and provide periodic insights to stakeholder Ensure accuracy and consistency of metrics across teams Market Research & Customer Understanding Conduct market and competitor analysis to understand industry trends and benchmark product Gather and analyze customer feedback from surveys, support tickets, user interviews, and behavioral data.
Identify customer pain points and recommend product enhancements Product Development Support Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, Design, and Business teams throughout the product lifecycle. Assist in requirement gathering, user story creation, and documentation of feature specifications. Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and prioritization activities.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate feature functionality and business requirements Product Strategy & Roadmap Support Provide data-driven recommendations to support product roadmap and prioritization decisions Measure feature performance and assess business impact post-launch. Support experimentation initiatives and A/B testing activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA or Master's degree is an added advantage. 4โ6 years of experience in Product Analytics, Business Analytics, Product Operations, or a similar role. Prior experience in FinTech, Lending, Payments, SaaS, or Consumer Internet products is preferred. Required Skills Data & Analytics Strong proficiency in SQL and Advanced Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Metabase.Strong understanding of product metrics, funnel analysis, cohort analysis, retention analysis, and A/B testing.
Product & Technical SkillsHands-on experience with Jira and Confluence. Familiarity with product analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Clevertap, or Firebase Analytics. Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Basic understanding of APIs, event tracking, and data instrumentation concepts. Core Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills Experience in FinTech, Lending, Credit, or Payments products. Exposure to Python or R for advanced analytics is an added advantage. Understanding of customer lifecycle metrics and growth analytics.
Experience working with experimentation frameworks and feature performance measurement. Knowledge of customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization metrics. Behavioral Competencies Data-driven decision-making mindset.
