Location: Hybrid – Oakland, CA or Charlotte, NC (3 days onsite: Tuesday & Thursday mandatory; 3rd day flexible) Compensation: $45-60/hr W2 Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) upon conversion. Job Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Product Analyst to support analytics for our clients consumer-facing application within a fast-paced fintech environment.
In this role, you will leverage SQL and Looker to analyze user activity across the platform, with a strong focus on homepage engagement, funnels, and overall business performance. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Engineering, Data Science, and Business Intelligence teams to deliver actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities Analyze user behavior and product performance within the app using SQL and Looker.
Build, maintain, and present Looker dashboards to track key product and business metrics. Develop a deep understanding of clients data ecosystem, pipelines, and tracking instrumentation. Partner with Engineering and BI teams to ensure accurate event tracking for new features, experiments, and tests.
Monitor revenue funnels across the platform and segment users (e.g., by credit score) to identify trends and growth opportunities. Present insights and findings to stakeholders through clear, data-driven presentations. Support A/B testing initiatives using in-house experimentation framework.
Collaborate closely with product analysts and cross-functional partners to connect insights across product, marketing, and external factors. MUST HAVE 5+ years of analytics experience with a strong focus on SQL. Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries (must be able to pass a SQL CoderPad).
Strong experience building and maintaining Looker dashboards. Solid understanding of data pipelines and how data flows through analytics systems. Experience presenting data insights to stakeholders.
Nice to have A/B testing experience. Experience setting up DAGs in Looker. Prior experience in fintech or consumer-facing digital products.
