Senior Payroll Analyst

Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 days in office) Salary: $90,000 – $105,000/year Industry: Technology ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Our client is a growing technology company with a growing presence across Canada and the United States. This is a high-ownership role for a payroll professional who thrives independently and takes pride in running a tight, compliant operation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Own full-cycle payroll for a multi-jurisdictional, salaried workforce across Canada and the U.S.

Administer Canadian and U.S. benefits programs, process sales commissions, and prepare payroll approval and variance reports. Ensure payroll compliance across CRA, IRS, and applicable provincial/state regulations, maintaining audit-ready records. Lead year-end close including T4, W-2, and tax filings; prepare month-end journal entries and support internal and external audits.

WHAT YOU BRING 5+ years of end-to-end payroll experience across Canadian and U.S. jurisdictions; PCP required, CPM is an asset. Experience with a modern HRIS/payroll platform; solid knowledge of CRA, IRS, and applicable provincial/state legislation. High attention to detail, discretion with confidential data, and the ability to operate independently as the payroll subject matter expert.
