About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Officer - Accounts to join our Finance & Accounts team in Jordan. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Accounts Receivable (AR) collections, customer follow-up, claims and dispute management, and reconciliation activities while ensuring accurate financial records and timely collections.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable & Collections

• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with customers for timely collection.
• Ensure accurate recording of customer payments and collections.
• Maintain customer account balances and perform periodic reconciliations.
• Support timely clearance of outstanding receivables.

Claims & Dispute Management

• Raise and manage customer claims and disputes through resolution.
• Coordinate with merchandising and internal stakeholders to obtain supporting information and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of customer claims and follow-up actions.
• Perform claims reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain complete documentation for collections, claims, disputes, and reconciliations.
• Prepare periodic updates on outstanding collections and unresolved claims.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and reconciliation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
