Senior Office Administrator (14 month contract)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established and highly regarded business within the professional services sector for an experienced Senior Administrator to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, professional and proactive administrator who enjoys taking ownership, supporting colleagues and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of an office. The successful candidate will play an important role within the business, providing high-level administrative support while also taking responsibility for office coordination and ensuring effective processes are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior management and the wider team.
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the office and ensure administrative processes are maintained to a high standard.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, visitors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Manage incoming calls, emails and correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate diaries, meetings, appointments and room bookings.
- Prepare meeting rooms, agendas, documentation and supporting materials.
- Produce and format reports, letters and other business documents.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper-based records and filing systems.
- Coordinate office supplies, equipment, facilities and relationships with external suppliers.
- Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, expenses and general financial administration where required.
- Support client onboarding and maintain accurate client information and documentation.
- Assist with the organisation of internal meetings, events and business activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and introduce greater efficiency.
- Ensure the office environment remains professional, organised and welcoming.
About You
We are looking for an experienced administrator who is confident working independently and comfortable taking ownership of a varied workload.
You will ideally have:
- Previous administration/office supervisory experience.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional and approachable manner.
- Confidence dealing with senior stakeholders, clients and external suppliers.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Professional services experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
