Senior Mobile Engineer — Native Ios And Android

OMNIWIRE is building a premium mobile financial platform designed to provide customers with a secure, intuitive and consistent experience across iPhone and Android devices.

We are seeking one senior mobile engineer with strong professional experience developing and releasing both native iOS and native Android applications.

This is not a React Native, Flutter or hybrid-development position. The successful candidate must be comfortable owning separate native Swift and Kotlin codebases.

## Role

You will lead the development of OMNIWIRE’S native iOS and Android applications, working closely with product design, backend engineering, compliance specialists and external banking and card-program partners.

You will be responsible for implementing secure customer experiences covering onboarding, identity verification, financial accounts, transfers, cards, transaction history, notifications and account security.

## Responsibilities

- Build and maintain the native OMNIWIRE iOS application using Swift and SwiftUI.

- Build and maintain the native OMNIWIRE Android application using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

- Maintain feature consistency across both platforms while respecting each platform’s native standards.

- Translate Figma designs into accurate, accessible production interfaces.

- Integrate authenticated REST APIs and asynchronous backend services.

- Implement customer registration, login and account-recovery workflows.

- Build onboarding, identity-verification and consent experiences.

- Implement account balances, transaction histories and statements.

- Build domestic and international transfer workflows.

- Implement virtual and physical card-management features.

- Build card activation, PIN management, freeze/unfreeze and replacement functionality.

- Integrate secure push notifications and deep links.

- Implement biometric authentication and device authorization.

- Protect sensitive information using iOS Keychain and Android Keystore.

- Implement secure local storage, session management and application-level encryption.

- Write unit, integration and user-interface tests for both platforms.

- Monitor application stability, performance and security.

- Manage releases through the Apple App Store and Google Play.

- Participate in architecture decisions and backend API design.

- Review application security and privacy requirements.

- Maintain clear technical documentation.

- Diagnose and resolve production issues across both platforms.

## Required qualifications

- Six or more years of professional mobile-development experience.

- Demonstrated production experience with both native iOS and native Android development.

- Advanced Swift experience.

- Strong SwiftUI knowledge and working UIKit experience.

- Advanced Kotlin experience.

- Strong Jetpack Compose knowledge and working knowledge of traditional Android views.

- Experience with Swift structured concurrency and async/await.

- Experience with Kotlin coroutines and Flow.

- Strong understanding of native mobile architecture and application lifecycle.

- Experience integrating authenticated REST APIs.

- Experience with secure authentication and session management.

- Knowledge of Keychain, Android Keystore and biometric authentication.

- Experience writing automated tests for both platforms.

- Strong Git and CI/CD experience.

- Experience publishing and maintaining applications in both the Apple App Store and Google Play.

- Understanding of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

## Preferred qualifications

- Experience developing fintech, banking, payments or card-management applications.

- Experience with KYC and identity-verification SDKs.

- Familiarity with AML, fraud-prevention and transaction-monitoring workflows.

- Experience with passkeys, certificate pinning and device-integrity services.

- Apple Pay, Google Pay or mobile-wallet integration experience.

- Experience with push notifications, analytics, crash reporting and observability platforms.

- GraphQL experience.

- Familiarity with PCI-sensitive environments and secure software-development practices.

- Experience working with distributed backend systems and asynchronous APIs.
