A nationally recognized engineering and advisory firm is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with deep expertise in healthcare facility design to join their growing team. Responsibilities Serve as Designer of Record (DOR) on complex healthcare facility projects, leading mechanical design from start to finish Design HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems Define project scope, develop fee estimates, and manage budgets and schedules Collaborate with architects, medical planners, and clinical stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems with healthcare operations Support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships Mentor junior engineers and deliver training on healthcare-specific codes and design strategies Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) license required Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering (Mechanical focus) 10+ years of mechanical building systems design experience, with at least 5 years focused on healthcare facilities Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems and controls in healthcare environments Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD Familiarity with IMC, IBC, IPC, ASHRAE 170, FGI Guidelines, and NFPA 99 LEED certification and Design-Build experience a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
