Within LEAF, you will find a fast-paced environment with many opportunities to learn and accelerate your career.You will help with the design of HVAC systems for commercial and educational facilities including load calculations, air-unit and chiller equipment selections, ductwork, pump and pipe sizing and layout. You would also be responsible for QA/QC construction documents, provide design ideas and solutions, and train or mentor other Designers, Operators or Engineers.Your Impact:Develop and modify Revit models of plumbing and HVAC systems and components according to established standardsReview Revit modeling techniques, based on input from the engineering team and project managersManage the execution of the design for Revit models and AutoCAD documents for multiple projectsOversee equipment schedules, making changes and adjustments as necessary with input from the engineering team as requiredUse Revit to manage the design for interferences with other building elements and resolve conflicts with other team membersInterpret consultant design documents and design the necessary HVAC systemUtilize knowledge of design techniques and principals to mentor and train other designers and engineers involved in the production of plans, sections diagrams, equipment schedules, and drawings.Organize detailed documentation to track project development and design processProduce coordinated floor plans, riser diagrams, and isometrics for complex HVAC systemsMonitor installation of equipment and systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety codesDirect Jr.
Staff on HVAC load calculations and equipment selection and sizing.Here’s What You’ll Need:6+ years of work experience with an engineering consultantBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering technology degreeProficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and BluebeamPhysical ability and willingness to conduct site inspections and fieldwork, i.e., climb ladders, walk on roofs, etc.Ability to self-assess and command a high level of accuracyHere’s How You’ll Stand Out:PE LicensedStrong oral, written, and communication skillsExcellent time-management and organizational skillsProject experience in K-12 educational marketExpert knowledge with MEP energy compliance calculations, and Title-24 documentation using Energy Pro software. #J-18808-Ljbffr
