Duties Introduce and explain performance contracting to potential clients, identifying opportunities where CMTA’s solutions can provide long-term value. Articulate how and why CMTA is unique in our approach to performance contracting, reinforcing our value proposition in both technical and financial terms. Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business, referrals, and long-term partnerships.

Participate in business development efforts including client meetings, industry events, and proposal development. Lead the development phase including site visits, audits, and energy calculations. Direct the engineering design team in producing drawings and specifications.

Direct the bidding process to ensure quality and competitive outcomes. Collaborate with the client to finalize the performance contract. Work with the construction manager to ensure a smooth construction period.

Direct the commissioning process to validate performance. Support the client through the warranty phase as needed. Work with our Measurement & Verification (M&V) professional to develop the first-year M&V report.

Demonstrate knowledge of state specific K-12 design-build procurement processes, ensuring alignment with state and district requirements. Required Experience Minimum 5 years of experience with an Energy Services company or a consulting engineering/commissioning firm. Must have an undergraduate degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university.
