What Youll Be Doing (position summary):
The Hardware/Software & Network Vendor Governance team, you'll work on a team responsible for vendor governance across multiple LOBs in the Technology Operations organization. As a Senior Manager, you'll support CIBCs operations in India for vendor governance, procurement, expense management, and third-party risk of key hardware/software and telecom suppliers, and upload and influence relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors and assist in decision making using data and analytics.

How Youll Succeed (responsibilities):
- Leadership & Relationship Management. You are a strong leader who empowers employees to excel; you bring out the best in people by supporting and mentoring your team through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and effective problem solving. You will need to build healthy working relationships and partnerships with your key clients, vendors, and peers and to contribute to the overall goals of HW/SW & Network Vendor Governance and as a member of the management team.
- Procurement. Create and drive strategies with internal business partners and external suppliers to ensure appropriate procurement of hardware/software assets and telecom network services, looking for efficiencies, cost savings opportunities, and business alignment, while conforming to the Bank's compliance standards and risk tolerances. Validate expenses and manage inventory to ensure accuracy and completeness, performing follow-ups with stakeholders and suppliers as required. Familiarity with spend management platforms such as Coupa would be an asset.
- Contract Management. Support the intake and third party risk assessment process and participate in the contract negotiation, execution, and compliance process. Act as a single point of contact for technology contract requests.
- Vendor Governance. Support CIBCs third party ongoing monitoring program by working with our vendors to manage contractual obligations, establish and participate in periodic vendor governance meetings, and support vendor governance and performance scorecard activities.
- Spend Management. Validate and report on expenses and support the forecasting and planning process.
- Analytical & Tech Savvy. You can effectively articulate issues / recommendations via your analyses. You are skillful using Microsofts suite of products.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
- Collaborates with eternal vendors, finance department and other internal stakeholders.

- Previous experience with supply chain management procurement
- Understanding of hardware models.
- Inventory management background.
- Experience in data analysis, metrics and reporting
