Senior Manager – Data Engineering

Hiring: Senior Manager – Data Engineering Location: Noida (Work from Office – 5 Days) Company: Fintech Our Client is looking for a hands-on Data Engineering leader to build and scale enterprise-grade data platforms, ETL pipelines, and modern Data Lake ecosystems supporting analytics, AI, and real-time business use cases. Key Responsibilities: Own and manage enterprise Data Lake and data pipeline ecosystems Design and manage large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time processing Build and optimize data platforms using AWS and GCP technologies Drive cloud migration and modernization initiatives Define and enforce data modeling standards across warehouse and lakehouse layers Ensure observability, monitoring, alerting, and operational excellence across pipelines Collaborate with infrastructure, product, business, and vendor teams Lead and mentor Data Engineering teams while driving agile delivery and daily execution Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as Redshift, Glue, S3, EMR Hands-on experience with GCP BigQuery Expertise in ETL/ELT pipeline creation and management Experience managing Data Lakes / Lakehouse architectures Strong SQL query writing and optimization skills Experience handling both real-time and batch data pipelines Hands-on experience with Spark/PySpark, Airflow, Kafka, Databricks Experience implementing observability, monitoring, and alerting frameworks Strong stakeholder management and production ownership mindset Preferred Background: 11+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Platform roles Experience handling large-scale production data environments Fintech, Payments, Product, or Enterprise Data Platform background preferred B.Tech / BE mandatory
