Senior Manager – Customer Strategy (Financial Services Consulting)
An international Strategy Consulting platform is expanding its Customer Strategy practice within Financial Services in the Netherlands.
We are hiring at Manager and Senior Manager level and are looking for experienced strategy consultants with Financial Services expertise to help lead high-impact engagements across Banking and Insurance.
About the Role
As a Senior Manager within our Financial Services Strategy Consulting team, you will lead complex client engagements focused on:
- Customer Strategy in Banking and Insurance
- Sales and Service transformation
- Commercial and Go-to-Market strategy
- Customer experience and operating model design
This role sits at the intersection of Strategy and Transformation.
Unlike pure advisory roles, you will design strategy and work closely with transformation and technology teams to bring it to life.
The immediate priority is strong project delivery leadership, with increasing exposure to client development and commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end strategy consulting engagements within Financial Services
- Develop structured strategic recommendations for Banking and Insurance clients
- Manage and mentor consulting teams
- Engage senior stakeholders and influence executive decision-making
- Translate strategy into actionable, implementation-ready roadmaps
- Support business development and contribute to practice growth
What We Are Looking For
We are keen to speak with professionals who bring:
- 6–10+ years of experience in Strategy Consulting or Management Consulting
- Demonstrated exposure to Financial Services (Banking, Insurance or Payments)
- Experience across Customer Strategy, Commercial Strategy, Sales, Service or Marketing transformation
- Strong analytical capability and structured problem solving
- Proven leadership at Manager or Senior Manager level
- Fluency in English; Dutch language proficiency is strongly preferred
